SIMMs are more popular than their older cousins, the SIPPs. If you have some SIPPs that you would like to use in a motherboard that uses SIMMs, you can buy a SIPP to SIMM converters. This will work only if your SIPPs are fast enough for the motherboard you are installing them in.
